Hi,
What version of Xcode do you have ? On what version of OS X ? Which version of Qt ?
-
@SGaist
xcode-v6.4
OSX 10.10.5
Qt Creator 3.5.0 (opensource) Based on Qt 5.5.0 (Clang 6.0 (Apple), 64 bit) -
Looks fine. Did you already re-install Qt ?
-
@SGaist nope.....ishould i try that?.....if i uninstall and reinstall qt will i loose my projects?
-
Unless you stored your projects in Qt's installation folder it should not have any impact. The uninstaller only removes the content of the installation and the folder itself.
-
@SGaist I will do that now and get back.....appreciate your help
-
@SGaist that worked .....
thanks for your help mate.....do you think there will be an issue if i update to osx el capitan? -
If you don't change Xcode, you should not. Xcode 7 doesn't come with the 10.10 SDK currently used to build 5.5 so you have to modify your project a bit to accommodate that or copy the SDK from 6.4 before updating.
