Creator 3.3 Crash on startup (Qt 5.4)
-
I downloaded QT 5.4 and seems to install correctly. When I start up Creator, I get "qtcreator.exe has stopped running" message from windows with error [6004]. Unhandled exception... QT 5.3 works fine. I am running Windows 7 professional, 32 bit.

I have the same issue. Try running it with "-noload Welcome"
option. This worked for me.
It has to do with OpenGL used in the welcome box. -
Actually got it to work - sort of... Loaded the 5.4 version, deleted Creator3.3 and used the old Creator version, redirecting the paths to 5.4. Would like to use the newest Creator, but this will work until then.

My copy does not crash until I try to do something on the Welcome page, but crash it does.
You can go to the Help Menu, About plugins... and deselect the Welcome plugin in the Qt Creator group.

@huug THanks, really helped me

Please create bug reports if you experience issues/crashes. The welcome page uses QtQuick 2 and if it crashes this means QtQuick 2 has serious issues with your platform/configuration.
To fix this we need bug reports including your configuration (platform and graphics setup).
