Accounts

At qt-project I have an account. Qt qt.io I have another. Is there a way to join/merge?
-
@Raphael-Quati if you used the same email to register to qt.io as you had on qt-project.org, then you should have gotten your account details transferred along.
If you used separate emails, then we need to figure do some figuring out.
-
I was using at qt-project an old email. I've updated the email after login at new forum. :(
Can I delete the qt.io account and try to create again?
-
I've deleted the account and login again.
It doesn't work :(
-
@Raphael-Quati the identification is with the mail.
Of you can manage until Monday, we can work out how to free the old account and put it to your name.
Can you mail me at tero.kojo at theqtcompany.com
Include the usernames and both emails in the mail and I'll ask the back end guys to take a look. -
@tekojo thanks.
Email sent

@Raphael-Quati thanks, I'll get back to you on Monday, right now I'm away from my desk.

Account deletion doesn't work, or at least not as I expect it to. I went through the same process (create a second account [jeremy_k_2], figure out how to get access to the first [jeremy_k], delete the second), but the second account remains.
[That] may be related to undelivered chat messages. In an attempt to figure out the first account's email address, I sent it a chat message before deleting jeremy_k_2. Now the message is unretrievable from either account, but jeremy_k has a new chat notification that apparently can't be dismissed.
-
@jeremy_k I'll get back to you in about ten hours (night falling in this part of the world) so we can figure out what to do.
In the mean time, can you send me a mail to tero.kojo (at) theqtcomapny.com with details on which email and account name should be linked to each other. I assume you want to keep the old account information intact as you have a good posting history.
-
@tekojo I managed to get the desired account back after some poking around. The extra one doesn't bother me.

@jeremy_k good to hear :)
