    Hello,
Is anyone able to compile a "Qt Widgets Application" or "Qt Quick Application" for [iphoneos-clang Qt 5.3.0 (or 5.2.1) for iOS] kit which creates a QSslConfiguration object please ?
I've reported this bug which is probably more an issue of my dev environment than a QT issue:
    https://bugreports.qt-project.org/browse/QTBUG-38173

However I've been trying to fix this for days and I'm getting desperate. So if someone succeeds to compile from Qt Creator a main.cpp which calls the QSslConfiguration default constructor. Then I would be very interested to compare its compilation output with mine. I'd also be interested in the clang and Xcode versions of this person.

    Thanks

      Hi,

AFAIK, Qt is pre-built without OpenSSL support by default due to legal issues depending on the country you live in.

Thanks. That may be something to investigate indeed. I was actually considering to compile QT instead of using the pre-compiled binaries.

However this QSslConfiguration object creation compiles if I choose the 'Desktop Qt 5.3.0 clang 64bit' kit and fails when I go for the "iphoneos-clang Qt 5.3.0 for iOS" kit or the iphonesimulator kit.

EDIT: you actually already answered this question here http://qt-project.org/forums/viewthread/41182/
