So, from there, it's "IEEE 754":http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IEEE_754 , and search for Single Precision? It's the equivalent of a classic C 'double'?

Do you know the answer ? -
QML real == C++ qreal.
It's double on most platforms, with the exception of ARM, where it's float for performance reasons.
