Best practice navigating between QML Windows
-
Hi Forum
I've been looking at a lot of posts about navigating between QML windows. There's adding the QML windows to a VisualItemModel and then setting the visualItemModel.currentIndex property, and there's loading the window via a loader object.
Does anyone have a best practice to achieve this goal? I don't want the GUI to slow down because of a lot of windows that's rendered but not used. Even better, if someone can explain to me exactly when a QML window is rendered/painted on the screen and when it will start taking up system resources I'd appreciate it.
Regards
Ruben

QML windows?
Do you mean visual items or views? Please read "the document":http://qt-project.org/doc/qt-5.1/qtqml/qml-qtqml-models2-objectmodel.htmlAnd you should read the document related to scene graph.
