IFW start menu
-
Howdy,
How can I create a shortcuts for start menu in IFW?
I know that <StartMenuDir> fixes this issue but it works only for Windows while I'm looking for a solution for Linux.
P.S. Where can I find IFW project of Qt itself?

I think it resides "here":https://qt.gitorious.org/qtsdk.

I don't see packages & config folders which they required by binarycreator

Ask around on interest ML or IRC, maybe there are some IFW hackers there (more likely to get a response on a work day, though).

I asked a question yesterday on #qt-sdk and waited all the day but no one responded even they didn't talk at all!
#qt-sdk was like a abandoned cave yesterday!

I'm wondering how Ot project decision makers decided to announce about IFW while no one find some time to support it beside to huge lack of its documentation!
I reached to dead end with IFW nothing worked I even couldn't create a tiny installer similar to InstallJammer Or NSIS, everything is missing :(

Bump it! Does any one interest ?!

Did you get a solution? I have also reached a dead end. I have decided to write my own program to be used as a front end for IFW. It will be out soon.
-
bq. Did you get a solution?
Unfortunately no; I asked "BitRock":http://installbuilder.bitrock.com/ for open source license and they sent it to me since last week.

If it's open source I can help you out there.
