No. Exclamation mark means that qtcreator doesn't recognize QT. Check if path is correct.
Try to add manually (Add...) button. It is better to create QTDIR evironmental variable with your QT location path. -

What does that mean? -
Click on the Qt version with that error sign and check the details. Creator will point out why it considers the Qt version invalid there.

Have you tried running "make install"?
If that is a binary version, then the installation is broken. Simplest approach is most likely to just delete and reinstall.
