[SOLVED] Qt 5 on OS X: raise() doesn't work anymore?
-
Hi,
I have just converted my project to Qt 5 and, in some cases, I need to bring my application to the foreground. With Qt 4.8, I used to have:
@activateWindow();
raise();@and it would nicely bring application to the foreground. However, the above code doesn't work anymore using Qt 5. Anyone, any ideas?
Cheers, Alan.

Please consider to "file a bug report":https://bugreports.qt-project.org/ to track this issue. It will be forgotten here:-(

I don't mind filing bug reports, I just wanted to find out first whether what I have noticed is indeed wrong or not.
-
For information, I submitted a bug for this (incl. some sample code that illustrates the problems): https://bugreports.qt-project.org/browse/QTBUG-29087.
Seriously, I am rather disappointed with the quality of Qt 5 so far. I keep coming across issues! It's like QNetworkAccessManager::get() which crashes my application on the 64-bit version of Windows 7 and for which I have also filed a bug report (https://bugreports.qt-project.org/browse/QTBUG-29088).

FWIW, this has been fixed by the Qt team.
