Creator: How to get "QObject* obj" instead of "Object *obj"
-
How do I tell the refactor tools to always attach pointer or reference denotations to the type, not the variable?
That is, I want
"QObject* parent" instead of "QObject *parent" -
e.g. "AStyle link":http://astyle.sourceforge.net/
-
Is there a creator plugin to integrate this?
-
No, as I remember. Take a look to the post http://qt-project.org/forums/viewthread/3364 with the same question.
-
Hmmm...I'm basically happy with the code formatting Creator provides, except for this one thing. I was rather looking for an option to set, than a completely new application
-
I am not aware of an option to do this either... I think nobody missed it so far, so nobody implemented it:-)
Please consider to "file a feature request":http://bugreports.qt-project.org/ in our bug tracker and I am sure the developer responsible will consider this.
-
I filled the request: "QTCREATORBUG-7972":https://bugreports.qt-project.org/browse/QTCREATORBUG-7972.
Something I've been looking for for some time now. It always seemed trivial and I forgot to mention that.
-
Oops. Me to.
"My request":https://bugreports.qt-project.org/browse/QTCREATORBUG-7970
-
Ahh, I marked mine as duplicate of yours :).
-
Same assignee, so I'm not too worried.

Voted! :-)
