I have used Tcp (QTcpServer and QTcpSocket) in the problem related "here":http://developer.qt.nokia.com/forums/viewthread/6281. My server don't receive a second request which the client sent.

Ohoo, I'd like to share a drink with you and argue over everything you want, really but I cannot participate to the Qt Contributors Summit! At work I used to develop with Java (it's a bank's partnership company, so they look at Qt like the devil) an my company cannot be a sponsor for me, in addition I'm not really a contributors for the Qt framework (be a Qt Ambassador is not enough, maybe), so I don't have any invitation. If you would like to visit Florence in the future, I will offer you a beer!! :-)
I'm sorry to say so, but open source community fails miserably in this "market" with Pidgin (and other libpurple based clients like Adium on the Mac) being just one of them.
No need to be sorry. It's just the plain truth that there is no generally usable FOSS solution for this type of communication. One could say the community sucks at it, one could also conclude that the community doesn't care enough because there is a half decent free program available (i.e. Skype). We'll see what happens when, if it will happen at all, Skype is no longer a viable alternative on Linux. Obviously a skype like program should have the use-case of the grandparents/grandkids as a starting point. Ease of use is what is important.

Hi and welcome. I wrote a very basic "introductory tutorial":http://developer.qt.nokia.com/wiki/Basic_Qt_Programming_Tutorial on the wiki last week. It might be of some interest to you.

Duplicate of existing threads, so closing it now. Use "Why no Windows Phone port of Qt?":http://developer.qt.nokia.com/forums/viewthread/3800 "Qt + Windows Phone 7":http://developer.qt.nokia.com/forums/viewthread/4243/

Looks like I've missed this thread :) I'm using Dell Latitude e5400 notebook (p8400/3Gb RAM) under Debian unstable/exp as my main dev box and also desktop Q6600/4Gb RAM under Win7 for Windows compiling (also it is used for other activities, but it is out of scope of current thread).

Why? What did you try and not have success with? Did you get some non-closed and suppported hardware that supports uploading applications?
Yes, me to. :)
If everything with MeeGo is going fine, I will be more than happy.

We all hope so but Nokia long-term plans are to promote Windows Phone as primary platform for smartphones. Despite this I am anxious to see the long expected Nokia N950. I hope that Intel will count on MeeGo for Tablets and netbooks. Btw I am using MeeGo on my netbook and very happy with it.
