You also have to apply a layout to the whole outer widget. Otherwise you'll have free-floating layouts which is the same thing as before. Some goes for the individual tab pages. These also need a layout assigned (and not just a layout living inside of them). Assigning to tab pages is a little bit more complicated. You need to select each tab page after another and assign a layout to the tab widget (i.e. the widget the pages live in). This will assign the layout to the current page and not the tab widget. Trying to assign the layout to the page widget directly will fail.

Try to start your application: once with QT_OPENGL environment variable set to desktop once with QT_OPENGL environment variable set to angle to see if it makes a difference.

From the looks of it, the last entry of the token list is the one that makes the styling go past the end. I would say don't style the last line feed.

No need to be sorry, it's not something forbidden. I don't have Windows at hand so I have tested your code on macOS and PyQt6 as I could not install PyQt5. Beside some adjustment for the enum values, the filters worked properly.

Hi, People with visual impairments usually have their OS adjusted to their issue so I would not hardcode sizes in an application for that purpose as you might do a disservice to the community you want to support.

@SGaist Interesting, didn't know about that page. Not sure how complex it is. I wonder how it will cope with, say, signals connected to multiple slots written in different languages.

Hi, You can use a proxy model, you can also use a different widget like the frozen column example shows. Or you can simply have a generic search and set which row the search applies to.

@Hai-Anh-Luu I don't have an answer as to how or whether you can alter behaviour. But QMenu.exec_() (or QMenu.popup()) shows the menu as a popup, and that means that it will disappear after you click an item (or click outside it). You would have to find a way to change that. 13 years ago(!) Prevent a QMenu from closing when one of its QAction is triggered was posted, maybe the suggestions there will work for you? Things change slowly in the Qt world :) Goggle qmenu keep open gets another couple of hits, though it does not look like this question is asked frequently.
